BREA, Calif. (March 5, 2015) – Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. (EAS), announced today it received notice from the County of Orange Health Care Agency of its intent to award EAS an exclusive, long-term contract to continue providing 911 emergency ambulance services in the Cities of Placentia and Yorba Linda, California. The notice followed a recommendation of the evaluation panel that considered the bids submitted for a new Regional Exclusive Operating Area encompassing the Cities and is subject to an upcoming approval by the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

The pending contract award is for a five-year term and is scheduled to take effect June 1, 2015. EAS provides services to more than 4,000 patients annually in the Region.
