We’re Committed to Education and Training

At Emergency Ambulance Service (“EAS”) we make education and training a priority. We provide generous continuing education benefits for our employees and first responders.  Besides an online training system with over 100 courses, we sometimes send our people to train directly with medical providers in the area.  In addition, members of the medical community, and many community members, benefit from training we provide in conjunction with our partners affiliated with the American Heart Association.

In-service training at EAS is a core element of our corporate mission. Our Medical Director, Prehospital Education Director, Authorized Instructors, and others bring years of practical experience and knowledge to the curricula and methodology of our training programs.

Our training efforts in the community have touched thousands of people, providing useful knowledge about emergency medical services, CPR, First Aid, Automatic Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs), Drowning Awareness, and much more. You will likely see one of our exhibits, staffed by EAS personnel, at community events, fundraisers, and other large gatherings in the area.

EAS also partners with local police and fire departments on the very successful Every Fifteen Minutes program for high school juniors and seniors. This joint effort has resulted in a measurable decline in traffic-related tragedies in this age group.

EAS is proud to be an integral part of so many programs that benefit both medical professionals and the public we serve. We invest our time, money, and educational resources to make our community a safer place, because saving lives is more than simply answering a 911 call.
