Full accreditation from CAAS

CAAS

Emergency Ambulance are proud to be among fewer than 180 ambulance service providers in the United States and Canada to have earned this prestigious recognition. In California, with over public and private ambulance services, we are one of only 23 to achieve CAAS accreditation. Nationally, with approximately 25,000 licensed ambulance providers, less than 1% are CAAS-accredited, underscoring Emergency Ambulance’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

Our partnership with CAAS is a testament to our commitment to clinical excellence, operational integrity, and continuous improvement. CAAS accreditation is a voluntary, intensive evaluation that validates our practices against the most comprehensive standards in the industry—often exceeding local and state regulatory requirements.

We are proud to be among fewer than 180 ambulance service providers in the United States and Canada to have earned this prestigious recognition.

We are honored to maintain this designation and proud to uphold the highest standards in prehospital care and system performance.

About CAAS

CAAS Accredited

“The Commission on Accreditation of Emergency Ambulance (CAAS) was established to encourage and promote quality patient care in America’s medical transportation system. CAAS is an independent Commission that established a comprehensive series of standards for the ambulance service industry. CAAS accreditation signifies that your service has met the ‘gold standard’ determined by the ambulance industry to be essential in a modern emergency medical services provider. These standards often exceed those established by state or local regulation. The CAAS standards are designed to increase operational efficiency and clinical quality, while decreasing risk and liability to the organization. The process includes a comprehensive self-assessment and an independent external review of the EMS organization.”
